New Jersey 10, Lincoln 0
The New Jersey Jackals shutout the Lincoln Saltdogs in inter-league play as New Jersey's P Steve Fox gave them 7.0 innings of two-hit ball. The Jackals blew the game open with a four-run third inning with the help of a three-run home by Francisco Caraballo on a 1-1 pitch from P Chandler Barnard. Caraballo ended up scoring twice on the day. 3B Nick Giarraputo had an impressive day at the plate, racking up a game-high four hits in five at bats. He scored twice but didn't have an RBI. SS Angel Berroa and CF Danny Santiesteban each had two RBI for the Jackals. New Jersey padded the lead with three more runs in the top of the ninth. The Saltdogs were held to just five hits on the night.
Rockland 6, Worcester 4
The Rockland Boulders used a four-run second inning to topple the Worcester Tornadoes 6-4. Worcester took an early lead in the first inning when 2B/C Brandon Pickney hit a sacrifice fly to score RF Cameron Monger. The Boulders struck back in the second when C Scott Clement and DH Todd Gossage took Worcester P Zach Zuerche yard in back-to-back at bats to give Rockland the lead. Rockland added on two more runs in the innings on singles from CF Qualon Millender and 2B/SS Cole Kraft in consecutive at bats. Kraft was 3-for-4 on the day with two RBI to lead the team. Millender was 2-for-5 with an RBI and scored a run. Rocklands P Julian Sampson earned the win in 5.0 IP giving up 3 hits and one unearned run.
Quebec at Newark (Postponed - Field Conditions)
The game scheduled between Quebec and Newark was postponed due to field conditions. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader Saturday May 26. First Pitch set for 4 p.m.
