Rockland 6, Trois-Rivieres 1
Rockland scored four runs in the seventh inning to break open a tight ballgame and cruise to a 6-1 victory over Trois-Rivieres.
The Boulders had 10 hits in the contest and was led by Rylan Sandoval who went 1-for-2 with a home run, two runs scored and two walks. Conor Bierfeldt had a double and a home run in a 2-for-4 night while Kevin Krause had a pair of hits in four at-bats and scored a run.
Rockland starting pitcher Nick Sarianides tossed six innings and picked-up the win. Sarianides gave up an unearned run on three hits with four walks and eight strikeouts. With the victory, the righty is now 2-1 on the year.
For the Aigles in the loss, Alexi Colon had a 1-for-3 game with a run scored and two walks.
