Nashua moved to within one game of the Can-Am League title as the Pride, behind a solid offensive display, beat the North Shore Spirit 7-5. The Nashua 1-2-3 hitters of RF John Ramistella, 3B Jermy Acey and SS Olmo Rosario went a combined 6-for-13 at the plate with three runs scored and five RBI. Pride DH Jason Crosland also collected three hits in four at-bats in the 14-hit attack along with a run scored. Nashua starter Joe Gannon won his second game of the postseason as he went 7 1/3 innings allowing four earned runs on seven hits with nine big strikeouts. For North Shore, LF Mike Torres and SS Jerson Perez each drove in two runs on the night. The championship series shifts to North Shore as the Pride try to wrap up the title while the Spirit try to stay alive. Nashua will send Hideki Nagasaka to the hill while North Shore goes with Gary Galvez. Game three is slated to start at 6:05 PM.
