Buzz announce move to Carson

Carson, CA. ABA Orange County Buzz GM/Head Coach Burrel Lee III is happy to announce that the team will move to the City of Carson for the 2006-2007 season. The City of Carson is home to the Home Depot Center on the Campus of Cal State Dominuguez Hills. "This is a great moment as we go into our third season. We have a great home venue with an even better staff and they have welcomed us with open arms," stated Lee. "We will start fresh with a new team name, mascot and logo. We will become the Carson _____________. We will be announcing in the coming days our Name the Carson ABA team soon. This contest will be open to children in grades 3rd-8th and the winner will win a great prize package."

The Carson ABA team will play at the Veterans Park Sports Complex, which served as practice facility of the NBA's Los Angeles Clippers. "Veterans Park will also serve as our Official Practice Site, Dance Team Practice Site. What's good is that the complex also has a 2nd gym with mirrors that will be perfect for our dancers," added Lee.

There will be a press conference scheduled in June to unveil the team's new name, along with the logo, colors, uniforms, staff and players. "We have many things planned for the rest of the spring, summer and fall leading into our season opener in November," concluded Lee. "Golf tournament, celebrity game, both basketball and dance clinics/camps and many, many other events. Our website will be up and running in the coming weeks, but stay on the ABA website now for all of our updates."
