
Butte Daredevils Hire Assistant Coach

The Butte Daredevils have added more depth to the coaching position this past month with the hiring of Ex-NBA 1st round draft pick, John Williams. Williams played college basketball at LSU before entering a eight year basketball career as the 12th overall pick in the 1986 NBA Draft to the Washington Bullets. After retiring from the NBA, Williams continued his basketball career in the ACB league in Spain.
John Williams will assist 2nd year head coach Patrick O'Herron, who is no stranger to working with some of basketballs elites.
"John will be a great asset to the whole Daredevils organization and community of Butte" says Coach O'Herron, "He understands the game and will pass his knowledge on to the players."
Coach O'Herron and the Daredevils tip off the season at home on November 16th, against the Minot Skyrockets, 6:15 pm.
