LANCASTER, Calif. - The Lancaster JetHawks came back and held on to win, 6-5, over Rancho Cucamonga at The Hangar Saturday night. The JetHawks scored three in the bottom of the sixth to go in front, and the bullpen was perfect to seal the victory.

Down 5-3, Lancaster (12-11) rallied with two outs in the sixth inning to go in front. Forrest Wall tied the game with a double to the opposite field. He would later score on an error to put the JetHawks in front, 6-5. Ryan Moseley (1-1) took the loss after allowing those three runs.

Three JetHawks combined to set down the final 10 Quakes of the game in order. Alexander Guillen (1-0) picked up the win in relief of starter Logan Longwith. Justin Lawrence and Reid Humphreys pitched the eighth and ninght innings, respectively. Humphreys picked up his fifth save, one shy of the league lead.

The game was back-and-forth to start. Rancho Cucamonga (11-12) took an early lead in the second inning on a Logan Landon triple. After Lancaster tied the game in the bottom of the frame, the Quakes took the lead again on a Cristian Santana two-run home run.

Tyler Nevin blasted his second home run in the third inning to bring the JetHawks within a run, and he tied the game with another RBI in the fifth.

Landon hit a two-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the visitors up a pair before Lancaster came back and took their first lead of the game.

Manny Melendez went 2-for-4 in the win, stretching his hitting streak to seven games. In five of those seven games, Melendez has had multiple hits.

Lancaster's win sets up a rubber game in Sunday's series finale. Brandon Gold (3-1) goes for his fourth win of the year opposite Rancho's Tony Gonsolin (0-1). First pitch from The Hangar is at 2:05 pm.
