Bullies Announce Dance/Cheerleader Tryouts

Syracuse, NY. The ABA Syracuse Bullies professional basketball team is currently accepting applications for their upcoming 2007 Dance/Cheerleader Team. The team will perform at every home game throughout the season and at other special events. Participants should be prepared to interact with children, fans and the community, and most importantly, be ready to have fun.

All females interested in auditioning must be at least 18 years of age, complete an application and submit a $25 pre-register fee, post marked no later than May 19th or pay a $35 registration fee qat the door.

Dance/Cheerleader Team Auditions

Friday, May 25, 2007

6pm-9pm

Henniger High School

600 Robinson Street

Syracuse, NY

Registration begins at 530pm

Auditions will begin at 6pm and will be closed to the public.

All females are welcome to tryout and are required to bring a crop top, fitted black shorts or pants, dance shoes, a performance make-up and a current 5 x 7 head shot. All interested females will be asked to perform with their own music, a one minute technical and a one minute hip hop routine with gymnastic skills being a plus. A dance routine will be shown at the tryout and participants will be required to learn and perform it as part of their audition.

We are looking for energy, showmanship and enthusiasm, professionalism, dance technique and style, ability to pick up on choreography, teamwork skill, positive attitude, physical fitness, personal appearance and personality.
