May 11, 2024 - North American Hockey League (NAHL)
Shreveport Mudbugs News Release

The Shreveport Mudbugs (4-5) couldn't get much of anything going and fell to the Lone Star Brahmas, 4-0 and lost the South Division Finals series in four games.

After a scoreless opening period, LSB struck first blood at 5:06 of the second after a lengthy review from the bench which after a few minutes was determined that Ray Murakami indeed shot one off the post and into the net for his first tally of the playoffs to make it 1-0 Brahmas. The visiting team would add another as Brock James snapped in his fourth goal of the postseason from the left wing at 18:36 to increase the edge to 2-0. SOG were 20-18 in favor of the Bugs after two.

SHV just couldn't get much of anything going in the third period and LSB added two more goals at 3:16 and 18:48 respectively from Connor Bergeron and Brock James to close out a 4-0 victory for the Brahmas and a series win in four games.
