Buffalo, NY - The Buffalo Silverbacks defeated the Vermont Frost Heaves tonight, 100-95 at Iroquois High School in Elma, NY. The top ranked 'Heaves were leading the league with a 25-4 record which the 'Backs made 25-5 after a back and forth on court brawl. Leading the entire first half, Vermont was paced and in control. After the half, the Silverbacks stole control along with the lead and refused give it up for the rest of the night.
Trevor Ruffin, head coach of the Silverbacks said, "We knew we had this win in us. This makes it four wins in a row and we're not stopping for anyone. It was time for Vermont to get a wake up call and we were glad to oblige. The ABA championship feels closer tonight than ever."
