February 20, 2007 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Buffalo Silverbacks News Release

Buffalo, NY - The Buffalo Silverbacks moved up one spot in the power rankings, now seeded 17th, and are one spot away from landing a home court advantage for the first round of the playoffs. In the ABA power rankings, teams ranked 17 through 24 play against teams 9 through 16. The winners then play the top eight teams at home, and the winners of the second round move on to the ABA "Great Eight" tournament. Wednesday, February 21st Buffalo will be taking on the top seeded team, the Vermont Frost Heaves, at Iroquois HS in Elma. Game starts at 7:00pm.

Due to the overwhelming support from the Sahlen "Do Your Best, Never Quit" community outreach initiative in the Southowns, the Silverbacks are testing the local market for draw in consideration of moving the team there permanently.
