
Bucs to hold 4th annual "Souper Bowl"

The Des Moines Buccaneers are teaming up with Valley West Mall and Nextel to help fight hunger with the 4th Annual "Souper Bowl" Food Drive, benefiting the Food Bank of Iowa. The "Souper Bowl" will be held Thursday, January 29th from 6-8 p.m. in Center Court at Valley West Mall.
Fans are invited to bring non-perishable food donations to the "Souper Bowl", where they will have the opportunity to meet members of the Buccaneers team, as well as register for prizes. Prizes will include a $100 gift certificate to Valley West Mall, as well as Bucs tickets and merchandise.
"Souper Bowl Week" activities will continue on Saturday, when the Buccaneers take on the Sioux City Stampede at 7:35 p.m. Fans can also bring their food donations to the game, and the first 1000 fans through the doors will receive a free Buccaneers/Nextel folding chair and carrying case.
