Bucks To Offer $2 Beer On "Thirsty Thursday's"

LAREDO, TX- The Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League have announced that every Thursday game at the Laredo Entertainment Center this season will be "Thirsty Thursday", where beer will be $2. The Bucks play six "Thirsty Thursday" games at the LEC this season, starting October 30th against Corpus Christi. The special Thursday beer price will start immediately when the doors open at 6pm.
The six "Thirsty Thursday" home games are listed below:
-October 30th vs. Corpus Christi, 7pm
-November 6th vs. Odessa, 7pm
-November 20th vs. Rio Grande Valley, 7pm
-December 4th vs. Rio Grande Valley, 7pm
-February 5th vs. Corpus Christi, 7pm
-February 26th vs. Arizona, 7pm
BUCKS TO HAVE SIX JERSEY AUCTION'S IN 08-09
The Bucks also announced Thursday that they will have will have six jersey auction's this season, starting with the October 30th Halloween Jersey auction.
All jersey auctions will take place after the games in the main concourse, with Head Coach and General Manager Terry Ruskowski once again serving as the auctioneer.
Laredo has added two new jersey's to be auctioned off this season, including Dia de Revolucion (Nov. 20th), and Pink in the Rink (Jan. 9th), to raise awareness about Breast Cancer.
On four of the six Specialty Jersey night's the Bucks will play Southeast Division rival Corpus Christi, with Rio Grande Valley and Bossier-Shreveport being the Bucks opponent for the other two Specialty Jersey night's.

-Saturday January 31st (President's Jersey) vs. Corpus Christi, 7:30pm
-Saturday March 7th (St. Patty's Day Jersey) vs. Corpus Christi, 7:30pm
The Bucks, who start training camp on October 6th, will open their seventh CHL season at the LEC on October 17th against the Rocky Mountain Rage.

*Bucks Season Ticket Referral Program*
For every new season ticket that is purchased from a referral, the current season ticket holder that referred them will receive a $25.00 gift certificate to the Bucks team store. There is NO LIMIT to the amount of referrals that an existing season ticket holder can make.
For example, if a current season ticket holder refers a person who buys four new seats for the 2008-09 season, they will receive a $100 gift certificate to the Bucks team store.
