Bucks' Ternes Nets NBA Job With Phoenix Suns

The Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League are proud to announce that Director of Corporate Partnerships Aaron Ternes has been named a Sales Consultant for New Business Development with the NBA's Phoenix Suns. Ternes will start with the Suns next week.

"We are extremely proud of what Aaron has done here in a just short amount of time," said Bucks President/General Manager and Head Coach Terry Ruskowski. "There is no doubt in my mind that the Suns are getting a top notch employee. We wish him the very best in his career." The 28-year-old Ternes (pronounced TUR-niss) joined the Bucks staff in May 2009 as a Corporate Partnership Executive and was named the department's director in April 2010. Ternes helped the Bucks finish first in the CHL in Corporate Sales during the 2009-10 season.

"Aaron has been a great asset to our organization. He came to us straight out of college from Michigan and his development has been phenomenal," said Bucks Vice President of Sales Donald Thomson. "Just like our players on the ice, our front office staff members strive to get to ‘the big leagues' as well. Aaron is a great example for our current and future front office members that they too can make huge strides in their careers with the Bucks. We are extremely proud of Aaron and wish him the best with his career and life," Thomson concluded.

In May 2008 Ternes, a native of Dundee, Michigan, earned his Masters Degree in Organizational Leadership and Administration from Concordia University- Ann Arbor.

Ternes earned his Bachelor's Degree from Concordia in 2005, where he was a four-year letter winner in basketball, as well as team captain his senior season.

From 2006-2008 Ternes was a Graduate Assistant Men's Basketball coach at Concordia.
