Bucks Sign Another Forward

LAREDO, Texas â The 2004 CHL President's Cup Champion Laredo Bucks announced today the signing of forward Tyler Eady. For Bucks season tickets or more information call (956)-718-BUCKS (2825) or log onto www.laredobucks.com.
Eady, 6'2" 215-pounds, played this past season for the North Bay Skyhawks of the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League. He had 22 goals, 33 assists in 33 games and 90 PIMs. He helped the Skyhawks post a 34-7-4-3 record and the Eastern Division regular season title.
"He is a big winger that goes to the net hard," said Bucks head coach Terry Ruskowski. "He is strong in the corners and has some ability to score. I am looking forward to seeing what he can do in a higher league."
Eady, from Onaping, Ontario, helped the Skyhawks to the NOJHL championship with a four games to none sweep of the Soo Thunderbirds in the Finals. He posted nine goals in 11 games and 20 total points in the playoffs.
"I am very excited. I can't wait to get to Laredo," said Eady. "I have been training hard all summer. This is a dream come true."
Eady spent his first three season of junior hockey in the Ontario Hockey League. He played with the Windsor Spitfires and the Mississauga Ice Dogs.
He was traded from Windsor to Mississauga as part of the deal for Jason Spezza, who was the #2 overall selection in the 2001 NHL Draft by the Ottawa Senators. During his second year in the OHL he played for Don Cherry, the Canadian Broadcast Company analyst for Hockey Night In Canada, who was the coach and owner of the Mississauga Ice Dogs.
"I like to hit and try to be good in the corners and in front of the net," said Eady describing his style of play.

BUCKS VERSUS MEXICAN NATIONAL TEAM
Tickets for the October 17th game against the Mexican National Team will also go on sale September 20th. Season ticket holder have until September 18th to reserve their seats for the October 17th game. Ticket prices are $5, $10, $15.
