Bucks Release Two, Hamilton Activated

LAREDO, TX- The Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League announced Tuesday that they have released forward P.J Corsi and rookie defenseman Tomas Sample, as well as activated defenseman Cody Hamilton from the 14-day IR.

The 21-year-old Corsi had three points (1-23) in five games this season, to go along with a team-low minus-eight rating and 10 PIM's. Corsi started the season on the 14-day IR, forcing him to miss the Bucks first four games.

Sample, 22, didn't register any points in nine games with the Bucks, while posting a minus-seven rating to go along with 11 PIM's.

****HAMILTON ACTIVATED FROM IR**

The 22-year-old Hamilton has been on the 14-day IR since October 24th, forcing him to miss the Bucks last five games. Hamilton has registered two assists in four games this season, with a plus-one rating and two PIM's. Both of Hamilton's assists have come on the power-play this season.

The Bucks will honor Local Hero's when they host Rio Wednesday night, including local military members, as well as local firefighters, police, border patrol and more.

The first 1,000 fans to enter the arena receive a FREE "support our troops" wrist band. The Bucks will wear special Veterans Jersey's Wednesday night that will be auctioned off after the game. To have your local hero honored at Wednesday's game call 718-BUCK (2825).
