Sundogs J.F. Perras Wins CHL Performance of the Week

(Tempe, Arizona) - The Central Hockey League (CHL) announced today that Arizona goaltender J.F. Perras has been voted Week Three's CHL Performance of the Week for his 47-save effort in the 'Dogs 4-2 win versus Rio Grande Valley on October 30th.
Perras won the vote with the closest margin this season narrowly beating Tulsa's Rob Hisey and his five-point night versus Rapid City on October 27th. There were 562 total votes cast in the weekly poll with Perras earning 191 of them (34%) and Hisey taking 167 of them (30%).
The first-year Sundog made 35 straight saves after allowing two goals in the first period to capture the win for his team. On the season, Perras is 3-2-1 with a.915 save percentage and a 2.96 goals against average.
The nominees for the CHL Performance of the Week for week four of the season (the period between November 2nd and 8th) are as follows:
-The Arizona Sundogs win against the Laredo Bucks 9-0 on Wednesday, November 4th
-Kevin Defosses stopping 37 of 38 shots in Corpus Christi's win over the Allen Americans spoiling the Americans home opener on November 7th
-Andy Frank stopping 34 of 36 shots in Killer Bees win vs. Missouri on November 6th
-Daymon Rycroft scoring the game-winning power play goal in overtime against the Missouri Mavericks on November 7th
-Kevin Armstrong making 32 saves in 4-0 shutout of Allen on November 3rd
Fans can vote for the winner until Monday, November 16th with the winner being announced on Tuesday, November 17th.
