LAREDO, TX- The Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League start the second half of the season Friday night when they host the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees at Laredo Energy Arena. Game time is 7:30pm. All ticket vouchers for the game are just $12 with proceeds benefiting the Jr. Bucks.

The Bucks return from the All Star break looking to move into a tie with the Killer Bees for the final playoff spot in the Berry Conference. Laredo enters Friday's game two points behind Rio with four games in hand over the Bees, four points behind Mississippi for seventh, five points behind Arizona for sixth and just six points back of Texas and Tulsa for fourth place with games in hand over the Oilers.
Laredo improved to 2-1 in January with a 4-2 win over Mississippi Saturday night at the LEA. The Bucks finished their season series with the RiverKings with a 1-1-1 record.
All-Star Neil Trimm enters Friday's game fourth in the CHL in scoring with 48 points (12-3648) and is on a six-game point streak.
The Killer Bees are struggling as of late posting a 1-7 record in their last eight games including losing two straight in Arizona last weekend.

Saturday February 12th the Bucks will host their first-ever Pucks for Autism night when Laredo hosts Bossier-Shreveport at Laredo Energy Arena.
