Bucks Open Camp Monday, Cullaton Brothers In Camp

LAREDO, Texas â The 2004 CHL President's Cup Champion Laredo Bucks will officially open training camp on Monday morning at 9 a.m. with an on-ice workout at the Laredo Entertainment Center. For Laredo Bucks season or single game tickets call (956)-718-BUCKS (2825) or log onto www.laredobucks.com.
The Bucks will skate twice a day Monday â Thursday this week. On Monday the Bucks will skate in two groups in the morning from 9-10:30 a.m. and 11 a.m.â12:30 p.m. The Bucks will return for an evening workout from 5-6:30 p.m.
The Bucks have to get ready quickly as Laredo will take on the New Mexico Scorpions on Friday night at 7 p.m. in Corpus Christi in a pre-season game. The Bucks will host a pre-season game against the Mexican National Ice Hockey Team this coming Sunday at 2 p.m. at the LEC. Laredo opens the 2004-05 CHL season on the road October 22nd in San Angelo. The Bucks begin the home campaign on October 23rd against the Corpus Christi Rayz.
Returning players for the Bucks include forward Jeff Bes (CHL Regular Season MVP), forward Brent Cullaton (CHL's Fastest Skater), goalie David Guerrera (CHL Rookie of the Year and CHL Playoff MVP), forward James Hiebert, forward Adam Paiement, forward Steve Simoes, and defenseman Dion Hyman.
Over the weekend the Bucks rounded out their training camp roster with the addition of defenseman Josh Merson, defenseman Tyler Loney and goalie Chad Cullaton. Chad Cullaton is the younger brother of Brent.
The Bucks have a total of 28 players in training camp.
