LAREDO, TX- The Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League play their first home game of 2010 today when they host defending league champion Texas at the Laredo Entertainment Center. Game time is 4pm. The Bucks enter today's game on a seven-game winless streak (0-4-3) after falling in overtime last night to Allen 4-3. This is the first seven-game winless streak in Bucks franchise history.
Laredo's last win this season came against the Ice Rays on December 17th when they earned a 2-0 shutout win.
The Bucks have gone four-for-32 in their last four games on the power-play and have scored two power-play goals in each of their last two games.
Despite their long winless streak the Bucks enter today's game just one point behind Rio Grande Valley for fourth and four points behind Texas for third in the Southern Conference.
The Bucks and Brahmas meet this afternoon for the second time this season and the first since Texas earned a 2-0 shutout win at the LEC on November 21st.
The Brahmas are coming off of a 4-3 overtime win over Colorado last night in a Finals rematch from last season.
