Laredo Bucks News Release

LAREDO, TX- The Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League announced Friday that their new radio home for the next three seasons will be Imagen 94.l-FM, owned by Groupo Imagen Radio. The Bucks are back on the FM dial for the first time since the 2004-05 season.

All 64 of the Bucks regular-season games, plus any additional post-season games can be heard live all-season long on Imagen 94.1-FM, as well as online at laredobucks.com. Bucks Director of Media Relations and Broadcasting Bryan Benway will be back behind the microphone for his second season as the "voice of the Bucks".

"We are very excited to partner up with Groupo Imagen, and to be back on the FM dial", Benway said. "Our fans have wanted the Bucks back on FM, and we wanted to be back on FM. This is a great opportunity for everyone involved".

Imagen 94.1 has a mixed format between talk and alternative rock music. From 5:30am-3pm various spanish talk shows rule the dial, then from 3pm on, the station plays alternative rock.

The Bucks have already started playing commercials on Imagen.

"Groupo Imagen 94.1 is very proud and privileged to be the official station of the Laredo Bucks; this is just the beginning of what's going to be a strong partnership", said Imagen general manager Javier Fernandez.

Groupo Imagen, who bought the station from Radio Latina, has been in business for over five years and owns 62 stations in Mexico, including Imagen 107.7-FM in Monterrey.

"We are building a strong relationship with Imagen. We've toured their facilities in Monterrey, and here in Laredo, and they have been first class all the way", Benway said. "Imagen is a new station here in the city, and a great new choice for our fans".

All broadcasts will have a 20-minute pre-game show, which will feature "Behind the Bench" , an in-depth pre-game interview with Bucks head coach and general manager Terry Ruskowski.

For the second straight season all Bucks games can also be watched live online on the free CHL Network, at www.nifty-tv.com/chl.
