Kenai River Brown Bears News Release
Saturday night saw the Brown Bears searching for a series sweep over Minot. The Bears came out hard in the first period pushing the pace. After two power play goals to end the first period by Minot the Bears pushed, but could not find an answer for Tolvanen in net. Minot scored once more in the second period, and three in the third until Jack Gessert (Carlson) finally put one home to break Tolvanen's shutout. It was to little to late for the Brown Bears who dropped 6-1 and split the series with Minot.
The Brown Bears return to action this Friday and Saturday at 7:30 vs the Bismark Bobcats at home.
