FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - The Broward girls and boys won both matches in the First Annual Dade-Broward All-Star Games at Lockhart Stadium. Find the match recaps below.
Miami-Dade Girls 0-4 Broward Girls
The girls from Miami-Dade and Broward kicked off the first ever Annual Dade-Broward High School All-Star Game at Historic Lockhart Stadium on Saturday evening.
It took less than one minute for the game's first goal to be scored, Cidney Moscovitch putting Broward County on the board just seconds after the opening kickoff with a tidy finish from inside the box. Moscovitch proved to be too much to handle for the Miami-Dade defense, and she would go on to score a second midway through the first half. After assisting on Moscovitch's second goal, Kayla Faulker scored one of her own just four minutes later to put Broward further ahead. A lone second-half goal from Julia Sheffer gave the girls from Broward a convincing 4-0 win.

It proved to be Broward's night in the boys match as well, with the boys from Broward County running out 5-0 winners against the Miami-Dade boys.
After half-an-hour played, Jason Fitzgerald broke the deadlock with a well-taken finish from inside the box. Dawing Morinvil doubled Broward's lead just before the half, capitalizing on a rebound to slot the ball into the net. Jose Castellon, Aldrid Toledo, and Nicolas Guevara each tallied second-half goals for Broward.
