Brooklyn Aviators News Release
BROOKLYN, New York - The Brooklyn Aviators, proud second year member of the Federal 'A' Hockey League, have officially teamed up with Toys-For-Tots and will be running a toy drive throughout the month of November at all Aviators home games.
The toy drive will take place at the Aviator Sports and Events center in Brooklyn, NY.
All the collected toys will then be presented to the Marine Corps, located at Floyd Bennett Field, on Dec. 3rd at the Aviators home game against the 1000 Islands Privateers at 7:05 p.m.
"The Aviators, Marine Corps, and Toys-For-Tots recognize the importance to ensure that no child goes without a gift to open on this holiday season," said Jun Okada, Team Executive for the Aviators. "This is why we're proud to launch our inaugural Toys for Tots fundraising campaign."
Fans are encouraged to bring in a new, unused, and packaged toy to any game within that time frame, and in return, will receive a buy-one-get-one free ticket offer for that game as well.
The Brooklyn Aviators next home game is Nov. 11 against the Vermont Wild at 7:35 P.M. Great tickets are still on sale by calling 718-758-7580, or logging onto www.brooklynaviators.com. Catch the action all season long with reigning FHL Broadcaster of the Year, Carmine Vetrano on the Aviators radio network.
