Swift Current, Sask. - The Swift Current Broncos announced today they have acquired 2002-born goaltender Jacob Herman from the Prince George Cougars in exchange for 2002-born goalie Jordan Fairlie.

Herman, from Swift Current, was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Cougars during the 2019-20 season, appearing in two games.

In the shortened 2020-21 season, Herman was able to get into three games with the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League's Yorkton Terriers before the SJHL season was officially cancelled.

Herman played all of his minor hockey in Swift Current, including two seasons with the Legionnaires where he posted a 29-22 record with a 2.88 goals against average and a .905 save percentage.
