Brigade host Empire Saturday in final regular season home game
The Brigade are back in action this Saturday, June 23, hosting the Empire at 7:30 p.m. at Royal Farms Arena in what will be the team's final home game of the regular season and a crucial matchup with regard to the AFL playoff seeding. Baltimore holds a two-game lead over Albany and Philadelphia with just three weeks remaining in the regular season. The game will be broadcast nationally on CBS Sports Network.
Brigade top Valor, 72-42, extend first-place lead over Albany
The Baltimore Brigade (7-2) defeated the Washington Valor (1-8), 72-42, Friday night at Royal Farms Arena. Brigade quarterback Randy Hippeard threw five touchdowns and was named the game's Most Valuable Player for the seventh time this season. Brigade fullback Rory Nixon was named Offensive Player of the Game after rushing for a franchise-record three touchdowns.
Brigade set franchise scoring record in win over Valor
Baltimore's 72 points scored Friday night against Washington are a new franchise record, surpassing the 63 points scored last season against the Cleveland Gladiators. The Brigade's scoring output is one of just three 70-point performances this season, all of which occurred last weekend - Philadelphia and Albany scored 75 and 74 points, respectively.

Saturday, Jun 23: The Brigade play their final regular season home game of the 2018 season, hosting the Albany Empire, who trail first-place Baltimore by two games in the league standings.
