Brigade host Empire Saturday afternoon
The Brigade return to Royal Farms Arena this Saturday April 28, taking on the Albany Empire at 3 p.m. This will be the first-ever matchup between the two franchises. Brigade quarterback Randy Hippeard has thrown for 10 touchdowns and zero interceptions in the first two weeks of the season and looks to continue that success against an Empire defense that gave up 236 yards and six touchdowns against Philadelphia in Week 1.
Brigade host Kids Day on Saturday at Royal Farms Arena
The Brigade will host Kids Day this Saturday, April 28 when the team takes on the Albany Empire at Royal Farms Arena at 3 p.m. All attendees under the age of nine can receive free admission with the purchase of one adult ticket. Additionally, the Brigade and the Smithsonian Natural History Museum will host a variety of STEM-based activities around the arena concourse throughout the day.
Brigade fall, 54-49, to defending-champion Soul
The Brigade dropped a 54-49 contest to the defending-champion Philadelphia Soul Saturday night at Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia. Brigade quarterback Randy Hippeard threw for 278 yards and five touchdowns, including two to wideout Brandon Collins. Philadelphia wide receiver Darius Reynolds was named Offensive Player of the Game for his 151-yard, four-touchdown performance.
