Today's Storylines
This week's matchup:
The Brigade have begun preparations for their matchup with the Cleveland Gladiators this Sat., April 15 at 7 p.m. at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland. The game will be broadcast on the Monumental Sports Network.
Media availability tomorrow:
Following tomorrow's practice at Royal Farms Arena (201 W Baltimore St, Baltimore, MD 21201), players and coaches will be made available to the media for interviews and photo opportunities. Media planning to attend the availability are encouraged to arrive at 11 a.m. Parking is available at the lot on the corner of W. Lombard St. and Hopkins Place.
Carden Shines In Opener:
Rookie QB Shane Carden entered Friday's matchup against the Washington Valor with 10:39 remaining in the second quarter with his team trailing 27-0. The former East Carolina Pirate and AAC Offensive Player of the Year provided a spark for the offense, contributing to five of the Brigade's six touchdowns. Carden was accurate through the air, completing 21-32 pass attempts, including three touchdowns, and effective on the ground, where he added another two scores.
