
Storm's Rayford Honored by Arena Football League

TAMPA BAY - The Arena Football League announced today that the Tampa Bay Storm's Caesar Rayford has been named the Defensive Player of the Week for his week one performance versus the Cleveland Gladiators.
Rayford (6-foot-7, 275 lbs., Washington) gave an impressive performance versus the Gladiators in week one. He scored the first touchdown of the night with a 4-yard interception return off a tipped pass by Cleveland wide receiver Larry Brackins. The former Washington Husky finished the night with 4.0 tackles, 2.0 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, a forced fumble, and a 4-yard interception returned for a touchdown.
He is currently ranked second in the League with 1.5 sacks.
This is Rayford's first weekly award for the 2017 season.
