Brigade to Host Second Tryout on Friday

(Rochester, N.Y.)-Head Coach Mark Saunders announced that he is hosting open tryouts for the 2003 Rochester Brigade team on Friday, December 13, for linemen, linebackers and full backs ONLY.

"At any phase in football it all starts up front with the linemen," commented Saunders. "I'm really looking forward to seeing these big guys move around out there and see what kind of mobility and speed they have."

Tryouts will be held at Total Sports Experience, 881 Elmgrove Road, with registration beginning at 9:00 am. The cost is $35 for each participant, which includes drill work and a t-shirt. Tryouts will start promptly at 10:00 am and conclude at 1:30 pm.

All participants must be properly equipped with turf shoes/tennis shoes, athletic shorts/sweat pants and a t-shirt. The tryouts will consist of timing drills in the 40-yard dash, 20-yard shuttle and various other drills to evaluate each athlete's true abilities.
