Brewer Named Assistant General Manager

The Grizzlies are pleased to announce the promotion of long-time employee, Jake Brewer, to Assistant General Manager. Brewer, also known as the Ticket Leprechaun, is going into his 6th season with the organization. He is originally from Franklin, North Carolina and graduated from Western Carolina University in 2014. He majored in Sport Management and immediately wanted to put it to work.
Brewer got his start with the Grizzlies in 2014 as a Summer Intern and impressed staff with his work ethic and ability to care for the Grizzlies fans. He was hired to a full-time position immediately following that summer and has worked with families and individual ticket buyers ever since. "This means a lot to me. I love coming to work every day because of the people in this community and the opportunity to provide something to families I didn't have growing up," said Brewer. "Helping people come together to create memories, have a good time, and making them smile or laugh is an incredible blessing I've been given through this organization."
The promotion means a bit more responsibility for the man usually dressed in a full Leprechaun outfit. Brewer will now help within the Groups Department and take on more of a role in the community. "Jake has gone above and beyond with every task he's done here with the team. To be able to promote such a good guy, and good friend, the honor is mine. He deserves it," said David McDonald, Grizzlies General Manager.
Brewer will take on more roles behind the scenes to help the organization continue to grow. The Grizzlies ranked 13th in the Country in attendance across all 500+ Summer Collegiate League teams and Brewer hopes to keep the franchise among the top in the nation.
