
Braylon Rayson, Terry Thomas Named Players of the Week

The National Basketball League of Canada is pleased to announce that Braylon Rayson of the Sudbury Five has been named Player of the Week for the week ending May 1, 2022.
Rayson, a 6'1" guard who played collegiately at Central Michigan, had two stellar games in Sudbury's two victories over Kitchener-Waterloo this week; he averaged 30.5 ppg and 7.0 assists per game in the two wins. He was also 7-for-17 from 3-point range, for a .412 average.
The National Basketball League of Canada is also pleased to announce that Terry Thomas of the London Lightning has been named Canadian Player of the Week for the week ending May 1, 2022. This is Thomas' third Canadian Player of the Week this season, and second consecutive award.
Thomas, a 6'4" shooting guard from East Preston, N.S., who played collegiately at Ottawa, lit up the scoreboard on Sunday with 33 points and 15 rebounds in London's 113-99 win over Windsor. Thomas also went 5-for-8 from 3-point range.
