Braves Game Suspended Because of Power Failure

Rome, GA - The Rome Braves suspended play with the Savannah Sand Gnats on Tuesday night due to a power failure at State Mutual Stadium. The game will resume in the top of the fifth and will go nine innings followed by a seven inning game.

At the time of the suspension, the Braves were trailing Savannah 2-1 in the top of the fifth inning. The Sand Gnats scored first in the third inning. Brian Harrison singled and scored on a RBI triple by Aderlin Rodriguez. Rodriguez would then score on a sacrifice fly from Dustin Lawley for the 2-0 lead. The Braves would immediately answer in the bottom of the inning as Larsson doubled and scored on a two out single by Brandon Drury for the 2-1 score.
