
Brandon Williams Back on Flight Roster

GREENVILLE, S.C. (March 17, 2003) - The Huntsville Flight has re-acquired guard Brandon Williams following the completion of two consecutive 10-day contracts with the Atlanta Hawks of the NBA, according to an announcement by National Basketball Development League executive director Karl Hicks and Flight head coach Ralph Lewis. The Flight also waived guard Ron Riley.
Williams played in and started 38 games for Huntsville before being called up to the Hawks. He averaged 13.2 points, 4.2 rebounds and 2.1 assists in his first stint with the Flight. In six games with Atlanta (no starts), Williams averaged 3.2 minutes, 0.3 points and 0.3 rebounds per game.
Riley played in 21 games (three starts) for Huntsville, averaging 13.1 minutes, 4.5 points, 1.6 rebounds and 1.1 assists.
Williams is expected to be in uniform when the Flight visits the Mobile Revelers Tuesday. He will wear jersey #17.
