Braeden Kressler Re-Assigned to Firebirds from Toronto

FLINT, Mich. - The Flint Firebirds announced on Tuesday that forward Braeden Kressler has been re-assigned to the Firebirds by the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Kressler signed with Toronto as an undrafted free agent in October of 2021. He participated in NHL training camp with the Leafs and in AHL camp with the Toronto Marlies before being returned to Flint. Kressler is in his final season of OHL eligibility.

In 121 games for the Firebirds across three seasons, Kressler has scored 39 goals and recorded 47 assists. He played 47 games with Flint during the 2022-23 season and had 25 goals and 27 assists. Kressler's 1.11 points per game average was the fourth-highest on the team.

The Firebirds return to action on Wednesday night on the road against the Saginaw Spirit. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. at the Dow Event Center.
