Bradstreet Named Pitcher of the Week

DURHAM, NC- The official statistician of the Can-Am League, Pointstreak, has announced that Trois-Rivieres Aigles RHP Mike Bradstreet (pictured) has been named this week's Pointstreak Pitcher of the Week for the week ending May 31.
Bradstreet made one strong start this week, logging seven innings and earning a win against the New Jersey Jackals on Wednesday, May 27. Bradstreet allowed an unearned run on six hits, walking a batter but striking out eight Jackals as the Aigles cruised to a 6-1 win.
Now, the Lansdale, Pa. resident is 1-1 on the season with a 1.50 ERA. In two starts, Bradstreet has worked 12 innings, racking up nine strikeouts.
This is Bradstreet's second season in the Can-Am League. The former University of Rhode Island Ram was 4-1 with a 3.41 ERA over eight starts a year ago. He struck out 22 opposing hitters while walking seven in 2014.
Trois-Rivieres is now 4-3 on the season, and will open a three game series against their rival Quebec Capitales on Tuesday, June 2 at Le Stade Municipal in Quebec City. First pitch is set for 7:05 p.m. That game, like all Can-Am League games, is available live and for free at www.canamleague.tv.
