Bozeman Icedogs News Release

With victories last weekend, the ICEDOGS clinched the NAHL regular season title! This is their first of three successive goals, with a Borne Cup and Robertson Cup Championship remaining.

Friday's game is a Pepsi Night where $25 will buy four tickets, four Pepsis, a bucket of popcorn, and post- game skate with the team! The ICEDOGS' Booster Club will be conducting a silent auction during the game for the specialty jerseys.

Saturday's game against the Bismarck Bobcats is sponsored by Montana Furniture and will feature T- shirts and post-game party at Old Chicago. Be sure and cheer on the ICEDOGS this weekend as this incredible team makes their playoff preparations.

The final regular season game will be on March 25th against the Minnesota Blizzard and all fans will receive a FREE round of golf at Big Sky Resort if the game is a sellout! Be sure and get your tickets early to avoid lines!

Spotlight On #26 Pete Fylling

Q: Tell us a little about your playing background. A: My older brother played hockey and so I started skating with them when I was old enough to walk. When I was five I joined the youth association and played through my freshman season. My sophomore year I play varsity for Minot High School before transferring to Fargo-Shanley for my junior and senior seasons. My senior year I went to the Team North Dakota try- outs and the Bismarck Bobcats offered me a tender and I played last season for them. They released me this year so I tried out for Bozeman and I am glad to be here.

Q: What is your favorite playing career memory so far? A: Last season, the Bobcats hosted the Robertson Cup so we had an automatic bid. It was fun to compete against the best teams and in front of the scouts. I know I will get to do it again this season and hopefully we will have a better outcome.

Q: How do you prepare for a game? A: I wake up and eat a little breakfast before the pre-game skate. Then I go home for a small lunch and take a nap. Around 3:30 pm I get up and eat some soup, peanut butter sandwiches, and my big meal. Then it is off to the rink where I just try to keep the atmosphere light, but focus on the game as well.

Q: What are your plans after you are done playing juniors? A: This is my last season of junior eligibility so hopefully I will get a scholarship somewhere to play. If not, I will head to college and try and walk on. I want to keep playing, so I will do whatever it takes to make it.

Q: What do you like best about Bozeman? A: Bozeman is awesome, and I am glad I am here. The mountains and the opportunities you get are great. I love to snowboard and fish, and living here has given me the chance to do those activities a lot. The team is awesome, the rink is great and the organization is top notch.
