Boston's Loss Sends Philadelphia to Playoffs

With the Boston Lobsters' loss on the final night of the 2015 regular season, the Philadelphia Freedoms have clinched the final playoff spot and will face the Washington Kastles in the Mylan WTT Eastern Conference Championship on Thursday, July 30 at 7:00 p.m. EDT in Washington, DC.

Boston and Philadelphia ended the regular season with identical 5-9 records and also split their head-to-head series 2-2. The next tiebreaker was most games won in head-to-head meetings, which Philadelphia led Boston 78-71.
