Booker Woodfox Defends 3-Point Shooting Competition Title

ORLANDO, Feb. 25, 2012 - Booker Woodfox, the 2011 NBA D-League 3-Point Competition champion, defended his title against the 2009 sharp-shooting champion Blake Ahearn (Reno Bighorns) by a second-round score of 26-20. In the first round of the shootout, Ahearn led all shooters with 27 points, while Woodfox advanced with a score of 20 points. Lee Humphrey (Rio Grande Valley Vipers) finished with 18 points in the first round while Moses Ehambe (Iowa Energy) scored 9.

Williams defeated Chris Roberts (Texas Legends) by a final score of 93-70 in the second round in the Dunk Contest. He punctuated the high-flying competition with a windmill dunk that left him hanging from the rim by his right elbow. For the first time, the event was broadcast live on NBA TV during halftime of the 2012 NBA D-League All-Star game presented by 26 Seconds.
