Milwaukee Bonecrushers News Release
Milwaukee-The Milwaukee Bonecrushers are dedicated to putting a winning team on the field for the city of Milwaukee. We are confident that we have done that with a series of front office and coaching changes.
The Milwaukee Bonecrushers' goal is to put together a winning team that its fans can be proud of. However, after a 0-3 start, the team felt it was critical to make sweeping personnel changes. On Monday evening, the Bonecrushers made several replacements in the front office, including a new General Manager, Jordan Kopac, and a new coaching staff led by head coach Michael Tumbleson. A complete list of the new coaching staff is available on the coaches page.
These changes are not different from performance-based changes undertaken by all other professional sports franchises.
The Bonecrushers' roster has also undergone large changes, bringing in several new players dedicated to reversing the disappointing start to the season. Rumors stating poor practice turnout and players quitting in large numbers are categorically false. The Bonecrushers' dance team, known as the Crush, also remains intact.
The Milwaukee Bonecrushers are not bankrupt. All of the players have been paid. The team has kept current on payment for its rental of practice facilities and its home field at the U.S. Cellular Arena.
The Milwaukee Bonecrushers have not ceased operation in any capacity. Practices will be held as scheduled and games have not been canceled. We are excited and preparing for this weekend's road game against the Marion Mayhem. Tickets are still available through Ticketmaster for our next home game, April 27 versus the Miami Valley Silverbacks, at the U.S. Cellular Arena.
The press conference scheduled for 1 p.m. at Best Western Midway Hotel in Brookfield is being held by Gilbert Brown and Chris Kokalis. The press conference has no affiliation with the Milwaukee Bonecrushers.
Undeterred by the circulating misinformation and innuendo, the Bonecrushers organization is excited and more driven than ever to make Milwaukee proud by putting forth a strong effort on the field and remaining a positive influence on the community.
