HUNTINGBURG, Ind. - The first-half Western Division Champion Dubois County Bombers opened the second half of the 2012 season in winning fashion, beating the Hannibal Cavemen 4-3 at League Stadium in Huntingburg, Ind.

Nick Smart relieved Torres and allowed the first batter he faced, Nichols, to line a two-run single up the middle, charging two more runs to Torres and leaving his final line at three earned runs allowed through six and two-third innings pitched.

Smart closed out the final two and one-third innings to hold the score at 4-3 and earn the save.
