
Bobby Hill Named 2003 Atlantic Conference MVP--Special Teams

TUPELO, MSâThe Tupelo FireAnts continue to make news in the off-season as DB/KR Bobby Hill was recently named the National Indoor Football League's Atlantic Conference Most Valuable Player for Special Teams.
Bobby Hill had another successful season with the FireAnts in 2003 with 43 kick returns to his credit, amassing 970 yards for six touchdowns.
"This is a very deserving honor for Bobby Hill," FireAnts Head Coach Bobby Hall said. "Bobby is one of the finest return guys I have been around. He is also an outstanding person, and I am proud for him."
Hill currently serves as one of the coaches for the Tupelo FireAnts youth tackle football program, in progress now through the end of October.
The Tupelo FireAnts are continuing preparations 2004 season under the direction of Head Coach Bobby Hall. The FireAnts next open tryout is scheduled for Saturday, October 11th at Robbins Field in Tupelo. Registration starts at 8:00am, with camp getting underway at 9:00am.
Interested participants must be ages 18 or older, and will need to bring running shoes, cleats, and workout clothing appropriate for the weather. The cost is $50 and includes a Tupelo FireAnts T-Shirt and two tickets to the 2004 home opener at the BancorpSouth Center in Tupelo.
