BMO Announces the WHL's Ultimate CHL Grand Prize Winner from Swift Current

May 14, 2015 - Western Hockey League (WHL) News Release

TORONTO, May 14, 2015 - BMO Financial Group and the Canadian Hockey League held a digital contest on Facebook to find the nation's most spirited fans in the Western Hockey League, Ontario Hockey League and Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. Today, BMO is pleased to announce the BMO Ultimate Fan for the WHL, Jennifer Klassen, a Swift Current Broncos fan.

Dolan will enjoy a grand prize of an all-expenses paid VIP trip for two to the 2015 MasterCard Memorial Cup in Quebec City, Quebec from May 29-June 1, 2015.

"The enthusiasm of the Ultimate CHL Fans for their teams embodies the community spirit that we foster and celebrate," said Justine Fedak, Senior Vice President, Brand Advertising and Sponsorships, BMO Financial Group. "BMO is proud to celebrate CHL hockey fans - we hope the winners enjoy the 2015 MasterCard Memorial Cup!"

From March 3 to March 23, 2015, BMO Financial Group and the Canadian Hockey League invited fans across the country to enter to be named the BMO Ultimate CHL Fan for their local team by answering a series of questions on Facebook that determined what type of CHL Ultimate Fan they are. Forty-two BMO Ultimate CHL Fans were randomly selected and crowned in their respective communities, one from each CHL team, winning a customized jersey from their favourite CHL team. From those winners, three Ultimate CHL Fan grand prize winners were selected for each of the respective leagues - the WHL, OHL and QMJHL.

"On behalf of the Western Hockey League, I would like to congratulate Jennifer Klassen of Swift Current for being selected as the WHL's winner of the 2015 BMO Ultimate CHL Fan Contest," commented WHL Commissioner Ron Robison. "We would like to thank the thousands of fans who participated in the BMO Ultimate CHL Fan Contest and we look forward to having Jennifer join in on the excitement of cheering on the WHL Champions at the 2015 MasterCard Memorial Cup in Quebec City."
