The Butler BlueSox took part in Butler's Holiday Parade for the first time on Friday. Four players on the upcoming roster made an appearance.
University of Pittsburgh right-handed pitcher David Kaye participated along with the BlueSox's three Butler natives-Evan Oswald, Zac Sessa, and John Crummy.
New head coach Anthony Rebyanski and owner 'Wink' Robinson also took part in the festivities.
The players rode in the parade, throwing out candy and mini baseballs to the hundreds of fans who lined both sides of Main Street in Butler.
Sessa attends Wooster College in Ohio while Crummy is at Miami of Ohio. Oswald and Kaye are teammates at the University of Pittsburgh.
