The Bridgeport Bluefish are currently seeking community members that are interested in becoming host families for a Bluefish player during the 2009 baseball season.
Hosting a player has many benefits to a family. It is a valuable way to provide a player with a home while keeping them involved in the community and also gives you the opportunity to be involved with the Bluefish on a personal level. For many families, hosting a player has made a special impact on their lives as well as their "adopted" family member.

Bluefish 2009 Mini-Plans Available Just in time for the holidays, the Bridgeport Bluefish have announced that ten-game mini-plans for the 2009 season are now on sale. Mini-plans are an excellent way to watch your Bluefish all summer long. Fans can choose from seven different ten-game packages and are guaranteed the same great seats for all 10 games. Not only are these ten-packs available at discounted ticket prices, but you will have the opportunity to purchase playoff tickets before they go on sale to the general public.

Tommy John to Return as Bluefish Manager
The Bridgeport Bluefish announced former Major League pitcher Tommy John will return as field manager for the 2009 season. This will be the skippers third year managing the team.
