Bluefish Announce "Fintastic Fridays" at Harbor Yard

(Bridgeport, Conn. - April 3, 2015) - The Bridgeport Bluefish today announced their promotional line-up for "FINtastic Fridays" at The Ballpark at Harbor Yard during the 2015 season.
Fridays will be highlighted by the Bluefish Specialty Jersey series. Every Friday night, the 'Fish will sport a new jersey to go along with the night's theme. Specialty Jerseys include Tuxedo Jerseys, Sci-Fi Jerseys, and Santa Jerseys for Summer Santa Con, among others.
FINtastic Fridays will also feature a "Flat Screen Friday" giveaway to benefit the Bluefish Educational and Sportsmanship Foundation, as well as special games in the all-new Ballpark at Harbor Yard Beer Garden where fans will have the chance to win many other great prizes. These nights will also be "Facebook Fridays", where fans who like the Bluefish on the social media platform can take advantage of special promotions at the Ballpark.
Additional Friday promotions include:
April 24 (5:35 p.m.) - Opening Day for JA / Human Fire Ball Appearance / Tuxedo Specialty Jerseys / Magnet Schedule Giveaway, presented by Bankwell - Special ribbon cutting ceremony for The Ballpark at Harbor Yard Beer Garden down the right field line sponsored by Two Roads Brewery with non-profit partner Junior Achievement at 4 pm with a networking and live music event. Bluefish also open the season in style with the Human Fire Ball post-game base run appearance, Tuxedo Specialty Player Jerseys, and Magnet Schedule Giveaway for the first 2,500 fans, courtesy of Bankwell.
May 15 (7:05 p.m.) - Police Appreciation Night / Relay for Life Night / SNL Tribute Jerseys - Bluefish to honor local Law Enforcement with special offers and fans have an opportunity to show appreciation by sponsoring the night. Relay for Life is hosting a Cancer Awareness Night for the second season in a row. Players will wear a Saturday Night Live Tribute Jersey that models a favorite skit as voted on by Bluefish fans.
May 22 (7:05 p.m.) - Educators Appreciation Night / Superheroes Specialty Jerseys, presented by Big Brothers Big Sisters - Bluefish to honor local teachers and school employees with special offers, while fans have an opportunity to show appreciation by sponsoring the night. Players will wear Superhero Jerseys modeled after Avengers, courtesy of Big Brothers Big Sisters.
June 12 (7:05 p.m.) - Barnum Festival Night / Ringmaster Specialty Jerseys / Ringmaster Fred Hall Bobblehead Giveaway - Come out to support Barnum Festival Night in honor of P.T. Barnum, which is yearly celebration. Meet Ringmaster Fred Hall as players will wear Ringmaster themed jerseys. First 500 fans will receive a Ringmaster Fred Hall Bobblehead.
July 3 (7:05 p.m.) - Biker Rally Night / Constitution Jersey - Bluefish to host a Biker Rally Night at The Ballpark at Harbor Yard. Players will be wearing Constitution Jerseys in honor of the Fourth of July weekend.
July 17 (7:05 p.m.) - Youth Group Night / Sci-Fi Specialty Jerseys - Bluefish to host regional Youth Groups. Players to wear Sci-Fi jerseys on Sci-Fi Night.
July 24 (7:05 p.m.) - Summer SantaCon / Santa Specialty Jerseys - Wear your favorite SantaCon costume to The Ballpark at Harbor Yard for Summer SantaCon. Players are joining in on the festivities with Santa Jerseys.
August 7 (7:05 p.m.) - Ghostbusters Night featuring The Ecto-1A / Ghostbusters Specialty Jerseys - The Ecto -1A vehicle from Ghostbusters will be on display at The Ballpark at Harbor Yard. The Connecticut Ghostbusters will be in attendance. Fans will have a chance to take pictures, and players will wear Ghostbusters Specialty Jerseys to benefit St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
August 14 (7:05 p.m.) - Faith & Family Night / Mystery Specialty Jerseys - Bluefish to host a Faith & Family Night at The Ballpark at Harbor Yard. Fans will have the opportunity to submit their artwork for our Mystery Jersey Night to be worn by Bluefish players.
August 28 (7:05 p.m.) - Homerun For Heroes Night, presented by Sikorsky - Bluefish players will wear Sikorsky Specialty Jerseys to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project.
September 18 (7:05 p.m.) - Micro Wrestling Federation Showcase / Service Industry Appreciation Night / Neon Specialty Jerseys, presented by CT DOT - Come out to cheer on the Micro Wrestling Federation as they perform a post-game wrestling showcase. Bluefish to show appreciation for members of the service industry, and Bluefish players to wear Neon Specialty Jerseys courtesy of CT Department of Transportation.
