BlueCats Will Tour the LST 325

EVANSVILLE, IN: This Wednesday, July 11, at 11:00am, the Evansville BlueCats will have the opportunity to learn a little bit about Evansville's history. The players will be touring the USS LST 325 Ship Memorial on Evansville's riverfront. LST 325 crewmembers will lead the players on a tour of the ship and explain its significance to our city. Following the tour, the BlueCats are tentatively scheduled to go for a boat ride aboard a LCVP Higgins boat on the Ohio River. The BlueCats are very excited for this chance to immerse themselves in the history and culture of Evansville as well as promoting this important piece of Evansville's past.

Crewmembers of the USS LST 325 will also be supporting the Evansville BlueCats at their final home game of the season this Saturday, July 14. Mike Whicker, Executive Director of the USS LST Ship Memorial, will be participating in the pre-game ceremonies as the honorary coin toss guest and game ball presenter.
