Brevard Blue Ducks News Release

Melbourne, Florida – The Brevard Blue Ducks, looking to restore the glory that came with their first season success under coach Harvey Grant, will go back to a proven formula, naming former NBA star Robert Reid as team coach today.

"We learned the hard way last year, that you simply can't replace experience and that getting a guy with NBA time under his belt was critical to our success this year," remarked Blue Ducks owner, Mike Richman. "We are thrilled to have him."

Reid played 13 seasons in the NBA from 1997 to 1991, serving with the Rockets until 1988, ending his career with Charlotte and then Philadelphia.
