
Bloomington to Host Annual Central Hockey League Booster Event

Bloomington, Illinois will play host to the annual Central Hockey League Booster Club Convention on July 15th and 16th at The Chateau Hotel and Conference Center, located at 1601 Jumer Drive in Bloomington. Booster Clubs from a number of the Central Hockey League Teams will be represented.
The two day event begins on the evening of Friday, July 15th with a Meet & Greet at the Blueline Nightclub located at 602 N. Main Street in downtown Bloomington from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Then on Saturday, July 16th, the festivities begin at 8:00AM at The Chateau Hotel. There will be a number of guest speakers, including the CHL Director of Hockey Operations, Jim Wiley. And a tour of the U.S. Cellular Coliseum will also be given.
The new Bloomington professional hockey team will be playing in the fourteen team Central Hockey League beginning in October, 2011. Bloomington will be in the league's Turner (Northern) Conference along with the Fort Wayne Komets, Dayton Gems, Quad City Mallards, Missouri Mavericks, Rapid City Rush, and Evansville IceMen.
2011-2012 season tickets, group tickets and sponsorships are now available by calling the team at 309-434-2980. Our new offices are located inside the U.S. Cellular Coliseum, located at 101 S, Madison Street in downtown Bloomington.
