The Minnesota Blizzard Junior "A" Hockey team suffered its second straight setback Saturday night. The Billings Bulls blanked the Blizzard, 2-0 at the Runestone Community Center in Alexandria. Minnesota goalie Marcus Paulson (Eden Prairie, MN) stopped 25 of 27 shots to come his way. However, he was outdueled by Bulls goalie Jon Anderson, who kicked aside all 23 Minnesota shots. Billings' victory was its first triumph this season over the Blizzard, in four tries.
The Blizzard hockey team will play its final game before Christmas on Sunday, December 19th, as Bismarck will provide the opposition. Game time at the Runestone Center is 5:00 PM.
