Brookings jumped to an early lead just two minutes into the game when Griff Jeszka took advantage of an Aberdeen error at their blue line. The lead was extended in the second on the power play when Zack Mitchell tipped in a shot from Canavati and Ford. After a goal from Aberdeen in the third, Nick Cardelli put the Blizzard back up two from Hakkarainen. Cardelli received his second goal of the night with an empty netter to give the Blizzard a 4-1 victory over the Wings. Eric Hancock stopped 19 of 20 shots to improve to 4-3.
The Blizzard are at home on Friday, November 6th as they host the Minnesota Magicians. Doors open at 6:30, puck drops at 7:30.
